Having the front windshield of your car crack or chip can present problems. Some people cannot stand to have something in direct line of sight that cannot be wiped or cleaned away. Others might be concerned about the safety of driving around in a car with the windshield cracked. This often depends on the severity of damage. Still others simply do not show any concern at all whether there is a chip, a crack, or even a fully fledged hole in the front windshield.
It is best to get chips and cracks taken care of in a timely manner. Safety is the primary reason for this, but also just as the old saying goes, "a stitch in time saves nine". In more modern terms this translates to 'it can save you money to fix it now'. |
